Given that I used to work in Yellowstone and once hiked on the boundary trail of the park, in the small part of Idaho that this refers to, I found it amusing. So she listed her dog, Galadriel Mirkwood, as a coauthor and wrote as “we.” Their paper was published in 1978 in the Journal of Experimental Medicine.
