More images from the trip to Florida, earlier in July. We spent two days at the Kennedy Space Center. Truly an amazing place! Each time we went back into an exhibit, we discovered that there was more to see. The Vehicle Assembly Building (or VAB). A wonderful exhibit of the space shuttle Atlantis. We had dinner that evening in Port Canaveral at Rusty’s, sitting across from two Space X Falcon rockets. It rained, it was windy, the food was great and the view was really cool as well.
I recently spent 10 days in Florida as a graduation trip for Jonah’s high school graduation, doing the things that are important and of solid interest to Jonah. I managed to sneak in a few things for myself (wildlife, running, etc.), which were also good fun. It was a great trip overall. I missed topography. I enjoyed the wildlife, people, and food, and sometimes even the warmth. Home now and back to life in the northwest. This will be several posts as I go through the photos.
