It has been awhile since I have posted, so I’m going to try to put a few things up over the next few days. Here goes:

Cleven (on the right) had a retirement party so we snapped this one of myself, Cleven and Tom. I met Tom through Cleven as Cleven got me connected to my one running group known as the “Noon Group.” The group used to run at noon, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The group still meets up on Saturdays now as most of the fine folks are retired. They lead the way and I look ahead with curiosity. Good luck to Cleven!

After Christmas we went up to Seattle and took my brother to IKEA to get a new chair. This was the winner and it was delivered the next day and works very well for his needs. One more eye surgery in February and things will be looking better for him too. Yes, I said that. Oof. Sorry. But not really. 🙂

While up there, I stopped at my Mom’s gravesite in the cemetery in Bellevue, Washington, near where Larry and I grew up. My Mom was described by an older cousin of mine as a woman who always managed to get by on the seat of her pants. She was a master at improv and always with a lovely smile.

Heartbeat stopped on one of the large-format printers. Yes, I did not realize that they had a heart. Apparently so, and I need to pay attention to that going forward.

Solstice Run – one of the Noon Group’s annual traditions. A good time was had and a few runners ran and others just hiked to the top of Mt. Pisgah to raise a glass.
