Weekend(er)

Posted on April 9, 2023

The weekend: UO Women’s Softball with Nora, new season of sports (Spring soccer), robotics continues, and running with pals! Two complimentary tickets were offered to UO Staff for the game on Friday evening. It was my first time in the relatively new ballpark, and it was quite nice. New season of soccer for Nora. Well done! Zoomed: Today I met up with pal Alisa, a professor of Japanese Studies. She is just about to head there next week, as a matter of fact. We looked at the menus on the Lumix GM-1 (well, she looked and gave some rough interpretation). Alisa’s…

Game Day

ESPN’s “Game Day” is on campus now – they arrived on Wednesday and the show starts at 6:00 am Pacific on Saturday morning. Biking in today, I snapped this, still in the dark. It looked like a rehearsal was underway or a stage check. Me? We have a soccer game to attend early, so I won’t be there . . .
